2018 at Owairaka School I was Year 6

The best things that happened this year were  camp, rainbows end,

What I found challenging was the tests

I made some great friends this year. Together we liked to  play on the playground

Next year going into Year 7. I am leaving Owairaka School and going to Hastings Intermediate. I feel nervous because it’s all new and I don’t know anyone

My goals for next year are do better at maths

Kauri Big Splash

Today Rm 23 and 5 other Kauri classes had our Kauri Big Splash at our school swimming pool. There was lots of races including freestyle, backstroke, class relay and some fun races such as the Clothes race, bucket race, seal race, noodle tow, and the over under class race.
I had a really fun day - my favourite was the clothes race.

We went to Lovelock Track for school athletics. It was fun. I competed in the Long Jump, High Jump, Discus, Shotput, and lots of track events.
